One Solution

(Asif Mahmood, Dinga)

Pakistan is facing various tests at the moment. Among these challenges are Terrorism, Political crises, Failure of foreign policy and Poor economic conditions of the masses. All these problems seems different from each other but if one look deeply all these major issues are attached with each other at one point or the other. For example if you think deeply you will understand we cant improve the economic situation of the common man without better law and order situation and in political instability you peace can not prevail in the state.

In my point of view no one can solve all these problems immediately. Yes many people have hope that their new elected parliament will improve the conditions but I fear they can’t. General elections were held on Feb 18 and still no one knows who will be next PM of Pakistan. If these political leaders can’t decide who will be leader of the house in one month how they will decide on foreign policy or terrorism?

As I wrote earlier these all problems are connected with each other and no one can solve them immediately but it doesn’t mean there is no solution. The most important thing which we need is a first essential step and that is formation of a good and real representative government. This government should have backing of people of Pakistan and it should be sincere. The media and Judiciary should work as watch dogs of people of Pakistan. This government should have 1 point agenda and that should be welfare of Pakistan. The leaders should seek guidance from National/Provincial assemblies and on key issues they should conduct referendum and gain direct recommendations of people of Pakistan...

If one thinks these problems are very big, I don’t agree. The difficult task seems Countering the terrorism but I want to tell you there are only hundreds or may be thousands terrorists on soil of Pakistan but Pakistan have 1 million army which is equipped with latest military hard wares and we are nation of 160 million people. Can’t this nation defeat these few thousand terrorists? Of course we can the only thing we need is a government who knows what to do and when to do and who have one point agenda. And this agenda is Pakistan. All others problems and challenges could be solved if we can have a real representative government.
