Election Commission of Pakistan decides to conduct local body elections Swat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2015 throughout the country. These elections are to be held in accordance to the 2001 Ordinance local government ordinance that gave the code of conduct to district administration. There are four stages of municipal government created: Town Committees, Municipal Committees, Municipal Corporations and Metropolitan Corporations. Members of each of these councils elect the senior members of the council. The elected house possesses the authority.
