Bezel less Screen Display

Thick bezels or massive edges are outdated when it comes to flagship screen. The 5.93-inches touch screen of  Honor 7X meets the design requirements for a bezel-less display. The 2,160 x 1,080 pixel resolution is certainly going to make your display sharp and crystal clear no matter what you view. Watching videos, TV shows, clicking selfies or playing games was never that much fun before. The 18:9 aspect ratio comes with multiple advantages for the users. More content can be fitted on the screen in landscape mode, immersive gaming and video playing is also possible. Under the Display menu full-screen mode is available where you can decide which apps automatically open up and use the total length of screen available.

Metallic body of  Honor 7X makes it highly sophisticated. Front is made of glass and has a 2.5D curved effect, blending in perfectly with the rounded sides of the phone. The back of the  Honor 7X is flat, with a matte blue finish. Fingerprint sensor is there easy to locate. On the top left both camera lens are present.

Impressive Dual Cameras

Although the dual camera leans placed at the back of  Honor 7X are not so attractive, but they are certainly more credible when it comes to performance. Similar to other  phones using same Android user interface,  Honor 7X’s camera app is simple, and packed with numerous features. You can find several options when you swipe to left to witness the options list. Swiping to the right side gives you various camera modes. Icons for special features are displayed at the top of the screen.

The main camera with f/2.2 aperture lens has 16-megapixels. The back camera has as minimal as 2- megapixels. The back camera cannot shoot in monochrome mode like other  phones. However, the dual cameras work together to produce a bokeh or blur effect. The software has also been tweaked to speed up wide-aperture, and improve low-light performance.

Excellent Speedy performance and Android 7.1 Nougat

Inside the  Honor 7X, there is a Kirin 659 chipset and 4GB of RAM installed. These are enough to run all the large applications smoothly and swiftly. The  Honor 7X runs a little slower and is not compared to flagships. However, it is evident that the device is capable to cope with basic functions.  Honor 7X has built in storage of 64 GB and 32 GB which is pretty spacious enough to store all the downloaded and built in apps. Android 7.1 Nougat takes up around 12.5 GB of space. This gives the users ample amount of space to fill the device with apps, photos, videos, and games etc. Both versions come with micro SD card support up to 256 GB using SIM 2 slot.

One big disappointment is lack of NFC sensor which means that you are unable to use Android Pay to make payments.

Battery Life

Battery life is significant feature of  Honor 7X which comes at an average 3,304 mAh. Considering large screen on front that drags immense power this phone is not game changing.

One feature that is not present in  Honor 7X is fast charging. Users have to rely on regular charging which sometimes is frustratingly slow. It is disappointing considering a lot of other mid-range phones now charge much faster than the Honor 7X.
