Nokia phones fans will be more than excited as every Nokia device will now receive Android 9 Pie update. This will make them highly updated integrated with latest Android OS features. There is no official announcement about the OS update time frame, but it has been confirmed by HMD Global that every single Nokia device will be upgraded to latest Android 9 Pie update.
According to official news, Nokia smartphones that are expected to get Android 9 Pie in the upcoming months include two Android Go devices such as: Nokia 1, Nokia 2.1, and other devices include Nokia 2, Nokia 3, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 6, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, China based Nokia 7, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8, Nokia 8 Sirocco, China based Nokia X6, and China based Nokia X5.

Android 9 Pie update will be first received by Nokia 7 plus, as it is the sole HMD Global smart phone enrolled in the Development Preview program. It could be followed by the company's high-end smartphones like Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco. Also, the Android Go smartphones might receive the update before the other mid-range and budget-friendly Nokia handsets. |
