Launched in Pakistan for Rs. 49,899, Oppo F3 plus is surely value for money. A massive battery life, six inches large 1080p screen display, plenty of storage and dual camera, this phone is a TURN ON in many ways:

Pros & Cons of Oppo F3 Plus

Pros
• The display of Oppo F3 Plus has an attractive, slender, metallic body making it a premium device. The best thing about the display is "six string" antenna lining below the camera that enhances the overall experience.

• The home button seems similar to those of Samsung’s Galaxy devices, as it comes with a fingerprint sensor. It recognizes the print instantly, no matter if your fingers are wet.

• The screen is well protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 technology.
• Perfect selfies can be clicked with dual front cameras - one main 16MP camera and one 8MP 120°wide-angle camera. Capturing solo shot is not an issue, similarly, capturing memories with friends and family is very much possible with this phone.

• Spaciousness is massive with lots of RAM and internal storage.
• Color OS 3.0 on top of Android Marsh Mallow 6.0 OS makes it responsive and much faster and smoother gaming experience is enabled. It can automatically manage the background apps saving the battery.
• Decent battery backup with VOOC flash charge.
• Powerful Octa core processor for multi tasking.

Cons
• The battery of Oppo F3 plus is not user replaceable.
• No AMOLED display.
• Lacks USB Type-C connectivity.
• No FM Radio and NFC option present.
• It is a bit heavier in pocket with 185grams weight

Performance
The ColorOS of Oppo F3 plus seems well optimized, as the overall performance is satisfactory. Multi tasking is easier, apps load quickly. On an average, the phone has roughly 2GB of RAM free which is sufficient for running various apps and games. The 4G LTE works efficiently; running live streaming like never before. There have been no issues with the call quality as well. The upper portion and edges get hot while charging and downloading apps or files.
Other advantages include enjoying watching videos or your favorite show on a larger screen even while traveling. Over saturated colors is there but if you are not too choosy it won’t be an issue. The single speaker is quite powerful, that makes the sound louder. Audio enhancements can be enabled if you have a headset plugged in.

The secondary front camera has a practical purpose. The 8 mega pixel sensor along with its lens offer a wider field of view, making more people part of it in a ‘group selfie’. Pictures clicked under good lighting conditions are properly detailed but due to fish eye effect, some distortion is witnessed in the background. The secondary front camera has an f/2.4 aperture. On the other hand, the primary 16-megapixel front camera offers better low-light performance thanks to the f/2.0 aperture. Switching between two cameras is easier. Screen flash is quiet useful at night as it automatically adjusts its intensity depending on ambient light.

Oppo’s rear camera of 16 MP with dual PDAF and an f/1.7 aperture is there. Having such a wide aperture helps in reduction of noise allowing brighter low light shots, quality is far better than many other brands. Macro shots in low light, shadows and highlights have good dynamic range, but textures are not quiet sharp and there are blurs in details. Without zooming in, pictures look good. Day light shots are pretty good with sharper details and saturated colors. Close up shots are well defined.

Video recording at 4K is there with good quality. The prominent camera app features are an expert mode for manual control, time lapse videos, filters, and panorama shots. Focusing speed is also improved.

The Oppo F3 Plus packs a non-removable 4000mAh battery which can last for a day with regular usage. Using the HD video loop test, the phone’s battery can last up to 17 hours and 12 minutes. Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge Mini standard is supported. "Mini" is for the smaller adapter here. You will need the specific cable that comes in the box, as the standard doesn't work with most common Micro-USB cables.

Verdict
The Oppo F3 Plus is an amazing flagship smart phone that comes at half price of the current flagships in market. It can beat any hefty device of other brands without any doubt.
