HEC is one of the most reputed public sector institution which has earened it name in honesty and committment to its assignments. Each and every member from office boy to chairman is a dedicated and responsible worker. The HEC has developed a corporate culutre in its office, which can be as role model for other public sector institutions. By following the policies and practices prevailed in HEC, the other organization can also serve the nation through dedicaton.
This would be a nonsense decision, if the government thinks to dissolve such a role model institution and it would have severe bad impact on higher education throughout the country.

HEC is centralized institution,and it may have good and failed policies but important thing is "No institution is beyond constitution" and as per 18th amendment,It MUST BE devolved.People of smaller provinces demand their right as promised in 18th amendment to devolve HEC to provinces.WHy on earth people in Punjab and Big cities are afraid to devolve HEC to provinces againt the constitutional guaratess??Aint provinces part of Pakistan??Wake up Pakistan,if you people oppose the constitutional right of devolution,you are actually opposing rights of smaller provinces.Due to such behavior,Bengladesh went away and today Baluchistan is in fire.Please be Pakistani but not to curb constitutional rights.Thanks

اسلام علیکم
عرصہ ایک ماہ سے زائد گزر چکا ہے پوری قوم نے ایک ہی آواز بلند کی ہے کہ ایچ۔ای۔سی کا وجود اس قوم کے بچوں کی ترقی کے لیے ضروری ہے۔ چند لوگ فرماتے ہیں کہ سکول اور کالچ مضبوط نہ ہوں تو اعلیٰ تعلیمی اداروں کا کیا فائدہ۔ میں بھی اس بات سے متفق ہوں لیکن بات سوچنے کی ہے۔ اگر ایک عمارت کی بنیاد کا مضبوط ہونا ضروری ہے تو سب سے پہلے عمارت کی تعمیر کیلیے کاریگر کا ہونا بھی ضروری ہے۔ اگر ایک اچھے استاد کی ضرورت ہے تو سب سے پہلے اعلیٰ تعلیم یافتہ نوجوان تیار کرنے کی ضرورت ہو گی اور اس شعبہ کی ترقی کیلے ایچ۔ای۔سی جیسے ادارے کے وجود کا ہونا نہایت ہی ضروری ہے۔ اعلیٰ تعلیم کے شعبے میں ترقی ملک و قوم کی ترقی ہے۔ ایچ۔ای۔سی ایک وجود ہے پاکستان کا ۔ اور ہر صوبہ اس وجود کا حصہ ہے ۔ جس طرح ایچ۔ای۔سی کے اعلیٰ حکام نے اس وجود کو دنیا میں اعلیٰ مقام دلوایا ہے وہ اپنی مثال آپ ہے اور اس وقت دنیا کے سامنے موجود ہے۔ ہماری یہ دعا ہے کہ الله تعالٰی اسے بری نظر سے بچائے اور آنے والی پاکستانی نسلوں کو یہ ہمت دے کہ وہ اس کی حفاظت کر سکیں اور پاکستان کو دنیا کے اس مقام پر پہنچائیں جو اپنی حفاظت خود کر سکیں اور دشمن کی آنکھ میں آنکھ ملا کر بات کر سکیں۔ آمین۔

HEC should devolve, because HEC has wasted many pakistani rupees on behalf of foreign faculty members, RPA, and many on other things. HEC has surplus employees and many are assistant directors / directors which any one can see on HEC website. HEC and related person do not have any proof to increase in the technology area. HEC didn't provide any benefit to the Pakistan, just WASTED WASTED WASTED............................

HEC was very transperent instution when it was supervision under Dr Atta-ur-Rehman But after this person corruption Fevertisam started .I am one of them victum of HEC .DR Mukkaram Khan HEC Director of Peshawar Region Number of Lecturer Post published in News Papers but all posts fillup with proceedures when I contact this person who tell me that all psot fill up as per proceedures I advise govt that like HEC Public service commision also currupt institution also end this chepter
