• Rebate
- (v. i.) To abate; to withdraw.
- (n.) A rectangular longitudinal recess or groove, cut in the corner or edge of any body; a rabbet. See Rabbet.
- (n.) A piece of wood hafted into a long stick, and serving to beat out mortar.
