Serious Terrorist Attack on the Teachers of BZU Sub-Campus D.G. Khan Dera Ghazi Khan is a big district of southern Punjab. For the progress of higher education Bahauddin Zakariya University, sub campus is working in this area. This institution is glimmer of hope for poor and needy people of this area but unfortunately that institution is near to collapse due to volatile working environment. In this area there is strong invasion of the political activists and they are main hindrances for the development. Recently in BZU sub campus two main attacks have been made on the campus director and on a teacher. Last attack was made on 24th of April 2013 in an academic function that was continued in a famous hotel of the city, in presence of faculty and more than 70 students. They were fully equipped and assaulted at campus director (Dr.Ishtiaq Ahmed Rajwana) meanwhile assistant professor Dr. Fahed Qureshi rescued him and his nose bone was fractured during the attack that was attempt to murder. They successfully escaped from there and the whole atmosphere got frightened. The incident was immediately reported but the police did not respond at the right time and gave lame excuses to launch FIR but on asking and insisting from multiple sources then they launched it whereas no serious action has been taken by the administration. The whole organization and city environment is on stake just because of supporting attitude of police and district administration towards illegal students unions and political activists. War zone has been created in all educational institutions of D.G.Khan but other institutions are not properly reporting this issue. We are highlighting it for the safety of all the institutions. All the teachers and students are in continues threats of life.
