The deadline for the submission of admission forms under the newly adopted
Sindh E-Centralised College Admission Programme (SECCAP) has been extended till
August 28, the Sindh education department announced on Monday.
The SECCAP replaced the Centralised Admission Policy which had been devised in
2000 for admissions into class XI. Under this ‘new’ admission policy, candidates
have to fill out the admission form online, print it out and then submit it to
the nearest branch of Sindh Bank.
The authorities required from the candidates to download the brochure and then
select the colleges they want to study in. Once filled out and submitted, the
choices mentioned cannot be changed or reverted.
The form has to be submitted with a Rs60 fee with a photocopy of their admit
card and marksheet.
The list of successful candidates will be published on the website of the
provincial education and literacy department (sindheducation.gov.pk). The
candidates can also view their results on this address.
The bank provides admission brochures to students, however, those who have
already submitted it online cannot submit it again.
