The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start admissions to its various
disciplines from SSC to PhD for the semester autumn 2014 season from August 1
across the country simultaneously.
Prospectus and admission forms can be obtained from the sale points at main
campus, Regional Campuses and Coordinating Offices across the country. The
admission forms along-with prescribed fee can be submitted in countrywide
branches of Bank Al-Falah, Habib Bank Ltd, First Women Bank and Allied Bank and
at the nominated branches of National Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial
Bank.
The detail of designated branches is available in the prospectuses as well as in
the Regional Offices. Last date for submission of the admission form is 5
September. This was announced by AIOU Director Admissions Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain.
According to the AIOU director (admissions), the admission forms and prospectus
of Matric, FA and BA level programmes for Pakistanis in the Middle-East can be
obtained or downloaded from website del.aiou.edu.pk of the university.
Continuing admission forms have already been dispatched to all the continuing
students, however, if somehow any of student has not received the said admission
form, he/she can download the same from the AIOU website www.aiou.edu.pk and
deposit in any designated bank branch with fee till due date to avoid late fee
charges.
