AIOU Director (Admissions) Syed Ziaul Hasnain said that prospectus and
admission forms are available at main campus, regional campuses and the
countrywide coordinating offices.
He said the admission forms along with prescribed fee could be submitted to the
countrywide branches of Bank Al-Falah, Habib Bank Ltd, First Women Bank and
Allied Bank and at the nominated branches of National Bank of Pakistan and
Muslim Commercial Bank by September 5.
According to him, admission forms and prospectus of matriculation, FA and BA
programmes for Pakistanis in the Middle East can be obtained or downloaded from
website, del.aiou.edu.pk, of the university.
“Admission forms have already been dispatched to all continuing students.
However, if somehow some students have not received the said admission form,
he/she can download the same from the AIOU website and deposit in the designated
bank branches with fee by the due date to avoid late fee penalty,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will launch a two-year
face-to-face master’s degree programme in TV production from spring semester to
meet the professional requirement of working journalists and help further
strengthen electronic media.
The decision for launching the programme was formally approved at a meeting held
under the chairmanship of AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ali Asghar Chishti.
