 Girls outshine boys in BA/BSc

PUNJAB University has announced the results of BA/BSc Annual Examination 2014 and the ceremony regarding prize distribution among the position holders will be held on Thursday (today) at 9:30am at Al-Raazi Hall. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will be the chief guest. In Punjab University BA/BSc Annual Examination 2014, BSc student Saba Khalid, roll number 21202, got overall first position and obtained 700 marks while BSc student Atiqa Fakhar, roll number 128331, stood second by securing 682 marks and BSc student Sumiya Munir, roll number 66378, stood third by securing 670 marks. Ayesha Mairaj, roll number 64893, stood first in the BA by securing 680 marks while Nayab Ramzan, roll number 11061, stood second by securing 666 marks and Shahbaz Ahmad, roll number 76705, stood third and obtained 664 marks. Total candidates appeared in BA/BSc Annual Examination 2014 were 133223 out of which 50211 candidates passed the exams while the pass percentage was 37.69.
