Veteran South African wicket-keeper Mark Boucher declared retirement from international cricket due to a fatal eye injury. The 35-year-old keeper suffered a laceration to his left eyeball during South Africa's practice match against English county club Somerset at Taunton. Boucher, who debuted against Pakistan in 1997, has played 144 Test matches for South Africa. Mark has 521 catches and 23 stumpings in Test cricket along with 403 catches and 22 stumpings in ODI format. |
