Referring to the Sindh
education department’s steering committee’s decision whereby the next
academic session in all the schools across the province should start from
April 1, an official of the directorate urged the management of each private
school to complete the entire process of admission to their schools for the
next academic session by March 31 so that all those seeking admission could
start their studies from the first day of the next academic session.
Taking notice of complaints that management of some private schools where
the process of admission for the forthcoming academic session had already
begun were demanding much higher tuition and admission fees as compared to
their approved fee structure, the official warned them not to fleece parents
on the pretext of sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities as they
could charge admission and tuition fee strictly in accordance with their
approved fee structure.
He elaborated that it was mandatory upon all private schools to get their
respective fee structures approved before the start of an academic session
from the directorate of private educational institutions as no increase in
fee was allowed to them during academic session. |
