ظلمت شب کا شکوہ کیا
صبح نو کا انتظار کریں
خواب کی تعبیر بدل سکتی ہے
کیوں نہ پھر سوچ کو معمار کریں
آؤ امید بہار کریں
حاصل کیلئیے کیوں سوچیں ہم
اظہار صداقت کیوں نہ کریں
ہاتھوں کی لکیریں جھوٹی کر دیں
محنت کو اپنا شعار کریں

ہر قوم نے انتھک محنت سے اک نام بنایا ہے کہ نہیں
جو قومیں ہم سے بدتر تھیں وہ شاد ہوئیں آباد ہوئیں
ہم ان سے ڈر کہ بیٹھے ہیں دنیا داری کر بیٹھے ہیں
اک بار مل بیٹھو تو سہی معمار کی جرات پھر سے کریں
آغاز اخوت پھر سے کریں
