Ingredients
  1. • Onion 1
  2. • Tomato 1
  3. • Burger bun 2
  4. • Cheese slice 4
  5. • Salad leaves 1 cup
  6. • Butter 2 tbsp
  7. • Oil 2 tbsp
  8. For Burger Pattie
  9. • Onion chopped 1
  10. • Egg 1
  11. • Green chilies 2
  12. • Ginger 1 piece
  13. • Garlic 2 cloves
  14. • Black pepper 1 tsp
  15. • Salt ½ tsp
  16. • Coriander leaves/parsley 2 tbsp
  17. • Bread crumbs 4 tbsp
  18. • Meat 300 gm
  19. For Swiss Sauce
  20. • Stock 1 cup
  21. • Tomato ketchup ½ cup
  22. • Tamarind pulp ½ cup
  23. • Corn flour 1 tsp
  24. • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  25. • Garlic 1 tsp
  26. • Roasted cumin 1 tsp
  27. • Salt ½ tsp
Method
  • Chopparize well 300 gm meat, 1 piece of ginger, 2 cloves of garlic and 2 green chilies. Add in ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 egg and 4 tbsp bread crumbs. Mix well. Make into patties, fry in a grill pan with oil as required. In a pan put together 1 cup stock, 1 tsp corn flour, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, 1 tsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp roasted cumin, ½ tsp salt, ½ cup ketchup and ½ cup tamarind pulp. Mix well and cook over low flame till thickens. Remove from fire and keep aside.
  • Now cut each bun from center into halves, spread one side with butter, put a Pattie and spread prepare sauce on top. Put a cheese slice, again spread with sauce and then top with another Pattie. Lastly put tomato slices, onion rings and salad leaf on top. Cover with the other piece of bun. Serve with sauce.
