INGREDIENTS

Mutton ½ kg
Gram lentil 250 gm soaked for 1 hour
Onion 2 sliced
Tomatoes 3
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 ½ tsp
Chili powder 2 tsp heaped
Turmeric ½ tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Cumin roasted and crushed 1 tsp
Oil ½ cup
Allspice 1 tsp
Mint leaves ½ bunch
Ingredients for baghar
Ghee ½ cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Red chili whole 6
Brown onion 2 tbsp

METHOD

Heat oil fry onion golden add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and mutton with salt, chili powder, cumin, coriander powder, turmeric and fry well till tomatoes soft and oil comes on top, add chana ki daal, fry for 5 minutes add about 3 cups water, cook till mutton and daal tender, slightly mash daal add allspice, lastly give baghar, serve sprinkled with mint leaves and brown onion.
