Ingredients
  1. Ingredients for Tzatziki  sauce:thick yogurt .. 1 cup
    mayonnaise… 2 tbsp
    Tahini paste…1 and half tbsp
    Lemon juice…1Tbsp
    garlic paste….1/4 tsp
    cream ………..1 tbsp heaped
    fresh dill (soya)..1 tbsp heaped
    oregano leaves.. 1/2 tsp
    crushed red chilli (bhuni)..1/2 tsp
    salt ……………….1/2 tsp
    cucumbers chopped.. 2 tbsp
    Char grilled chicken:chicken breasts flattened… 2
    lemon zest ……. 1 tsp (half a lemon)
    lemon juice…….. 2tbsp
    salt ………………. 1/2 tsp
    chilli sauce……… 1 tbsp
    crushed garlic….  1 tsp
    chilli powder…… 1/2 tsp
    mixed herbs…… 1/2 tsp
    crushed black pepper.. 1/2 tsp
    olive oil ……………1 tbsp
    To Grill:butter …. 1 tbsp
    chilli sauce.. 1 tbsp
    granulated sugar or brown sugar ..1 tbsp
    Ingredients for wraps:pita bread toasted  4
    mayonnaise … as needed
    ice berg lettuce… as required
    sauteed capsicum and onions 1 each sliced.
Method
  • Method for grilled chicke Marinate chicken with all the ingredients.
    In a grill pan pour the chili sauce, butter and sugar mixture,
     Heat half a minute and grill the chicken pieces in it.
    Smoke with a piece of charcoal… or BBQ the chicken.
     Slice the chicken with a sharp knife.
    To AssembleBrush toasted pita with mayonnaise, fill with chicken, Tzatziki sauce, sautéed veggies and ice berg
     Serve hot along with the Gyro sauce.
