Ingredients
  1. Green cardamom¼ tsp
    Cinnamon½ tsp
    Garam masala ½ tsp
    Black pepper½ tsp
    Nutmeg 1/4tsp
    Ingredients
    Chicken            8 pieces
    Basmati rice2 cups
    Oil½ cup
    Medium sized onion1
    Garlic2 cloves
    Lemon slices4-5
    Tomato paste2tbsp
    Salt1-1/2 tsp
    Raisin2tbsp
Method
  • Heat oil in a pan and add 8 pieces of chicken , ½ cup of onions ,2 cloves of garlic ,2 tbsp tomato paste ,salt, 1/4 tsp green cardamom, ½ tsp cinnamon,1/2 tsp garam masala,1/2 tsp black pepper and ¼ tsp nutmeg and 4-5 cups of water and allow to cook on low flame .
    When stock is ready then separate chicken from stock.
    Now add soaked rice in prepared stock and allow cooking. Add lemon slices, 1 tbsp of raisin and then keep on simmer
    Grill chicken in other pan.
    Dish out rice on serving dish and decorate the roast chicken on rice.
    Garnish with few raisins and serve
