Ingredients
  1. Whole chicken1 kg
    Ginger garlic paste2 tbsp
    Chili powder1 tbsp
    All spice powder1 tsp
    Coriander powder1 tsp
    Cumin powder1 tsp
    Thick yogurt250 gm
    Vinegar1 cup
    Chaat masala1 tbsp
    Red food colorfew drops
    Lemon juice2 – 3 tbsp
    Oilfor fry
    Saltto taste
    Muslin clothas required
Method
  • Mark cuts on whole chicken, marinate with salt and 1 cup vinegar. Keep aside.
    Now deep fry the chicken till golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
    In a bowl mix together 250 gm thick yogurt, few drops of red food color, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp all spice powder and a little salt.
    Marinate fried chicken with the yogurt mixture.
    Now put in a steamer and cook for 20 – 25 minutes.
    Remove in a platter, sprinkle with chaat masala and 2 – 3 tbsp lemon juice.
    Serve hot.
