INGREDIENTS

2 cups All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
2 tbsp. Baking Powder
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 cup Coconut Flakes (toasted) (for directions see "How To Toast Coconut" below.)
½ tsp. Salt
½ cup (1 stick) Butter (Makhan) or Margarine
1 cup Whole Milk

METHOD

1) HEAT oven to 450°F.

2) MIX flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and coconut until soft dough forms. Drop dough by scant ¼ cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

3) BAKE 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
