Ingredients
  1. Beef 250 grams
  2. Mash lentil 350 grams
  3. Bengal gram 100 grams
  4. Tara garam masala 2tsp
  5. Red chili powder 2tsp
  6. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  7. Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  8. Masala ingredients:
  9. Oil ½ cup
  10. Chopped medium sized onion 1
  11. Tomatoes 2
  12. Potatoes 3
  13. Garlic ginger paste 2 tsp
  14. Crushed red chili ½ tsp
  15. Red chili powder 1tsp
  16. Salt 1tsp
  17. Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  18. Tara garam masala 1tsp
  19. Whole cumin ½ tsp
  20. Green chilies 4
  21. Chopped Green coriander 2tbsp
Method
  • To make badiyan ,mix 250 grams beef ,350 grams mash lentil,100 grams Bengal gram ,2tsp tara garam masala ,2tsp red chili powder ,1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1-1/2 tsp of salt and make a paste.
  • Now make small balls and then fry and keep it in freezer.
  • Heat oil in a pan and make onion light brown to make masala.
  • Add 2 tsp of garlic ginger paste, 2 tomatoes,1/2crushed red chili,1tso salt,1/4 tsp of tara garam masala,1/2 tsp cumin and allow to cook.
  • Then add 3 potatoes and keep it on simmer.
  • When potatoes become tender then add 2 tbsp green coriander and 4 green chilies.
  • Serve with nan
