Dum Ka Murgh Recipe

This Delicious Dum Ka Murgh curry recipe is very simple to cook. This dish is also prepared with different nutty ingredients that are blended into a paste and cooked. Try this balanced spice recipe of Sum Ka Murgh in home for lunch or dinner and serve it with plain Boiled rice or Naans.

Ingredients
  1. 1 kg chicken cut into karahi pieces
  2. 50 ml yoghurt
  3. 1 tsp cumin seed
  4. 1 tsp lemon juice
  5. 1 tsp all spices
  6. 1 tsp ginger/garlic paste
  7. 1 tsp red chili
  8. 1 tsp green masala paste (coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chilies paste)
  9. 2 tsp onion seeds (kalonji)
  10. 2 tsp chopped fried onions
  11. 2 boiled eggs
  12. 50 gms peas
  13. 250 gms tomatoes, chopped
  14. 2 medium size potatoes, boiled
  15. 1 tsp salt
  16. 2 tomatoes, sliced for garnishing
  17. 2 tsp chopped coriander, for garnishing
  18. 2 green chilies, for garnishing
Method
  • Marinate chicken with yoghurt, lemon juice, red chili, all spices, onion
  • seeds, ginger/garlic paste, fried onion, salt and green masala paste for 30
  • minutes
  • Add the remaining ingredients and roast in the oven, moving regularly
  • till chicken is cooked
  • Garnish with tomatoes, coriander and green chilies and serve with naans.
