Ingredients
  1. 6 corncobs
  2. salt to taste
  3. 2 tblsps coriander leaves (chopped)
  4. 4 tsps coconut (grated)
  5. 4 green chillies (ground)
  6. 4 small pieces of ginger (ground)
  7. 6 flakes garlic (optional)
  8. 2 tblsps pure ghee
  9. ¼ tblsp mustard seeds
  10. 2 sprigs curry leaves
Method
  • Cut the cobs into 3 pieces each and wash. Boil in a little water, and when tender, remove from fire.
  • Make a fine paste of the salt, coriander leaves, coco-nut, chillies, ginger, garlic and cumin.
  • Mix the paste in I cup of water and pour over the corn. Boil again for half an hour, so that each piece is full of gravy. Heat ghee, throw in the mustard seeds and when they begin to crackle, add curry leaves. Pour over the corn. Just before serving add half a cup of hot milk. Serve hot.
