Gajer Ka Halwa Recipe by Zarnak Sidhwa
Gajer Ka Halwa recipe by Zarnak Sidhwa. This delightful Desserts recipe of Gajer Ka Halwa can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish.
7 oz carrots grated
60ml evaporated milk
1 tbsp milk
120ml (4 fl oz) ghee
2 oz semolina
4 oz caster sugar
1 oz almonds, ground
Pinch of saffron
1/4 tsp ground cardamom seeds
2 tbsp blanched and chopped pistachios
Mix carrots, evaporated milk and milk in a pan and cook for 8-10 minutes. In another pan, heat ghee and add semolina, fry for a minute and remove from heat.
In the carrot mixture, add fried semolina, sugar, ground almonds, ground cardamom, saffron, cook for 10 more minutes, tillcarrots are done and halwa is ready.
Sprinkle with chopped blanched pistachios and serve warm.
