Ingredients
  1. ½ kg maize flour
  2. 2 tbsp besan or suji
  3. 4 tbsp curd
  4. 6 green chillies (chopped)
  5. A small piece of ginger
  6. 2 tbsp sugar
  7. ½ tsp turmeric
  8. 2 tbsp oil for batter
  9. 1 tsp fenugreek (roasted and powdered)
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for tasting
Method
  • Mix well the maize flour and besan and the oil. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix again. If required add a little water. The dough should be slightly stiff, knead well and set aside for two to three hours from the dough into small round balls and press each lightly on your palm deep fry on a medium fire till light brown. Serve hot
