Ingredients
  1. 8 oz. rice flour
  2. 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
  3. 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut, soaked in
  4. 3 tablespoons milk
  5. ½ teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon cummin seeds salt to taste
  6. Oil for deep frying
Method
  • Put the rice flour in a bowl. Heat the ghee or oil and pour into the rice flour. Squeeze and discard the coconut. Strain the milk and add to the flour with the rest of the ingredients. Knead into a soft dough, adding water if necessary. Form the dough into thin cigar shapes and deep fry until golden. Drain and serve immediately.
