Shell Tarka recipe by Shireen Anwar. This delightful Main Course recipe of Shell Tarka can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish.
Kolson Shell Macaroni boiled 3 cups
Red pepper (soaked and ground) 2
Ketchup 4 tbsp
Chili garlic sauce 3 tbsp
Onion 1 cut into cubes
Capsicum 1 cut into cubes
Tomato 1 cut into cubes
Carrot 1 cut in thin slices
Salt 1 tsp leveled
Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Ingredients for Tarka
Oil ¼ cup
Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
Curry leaves 20
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
White cumin seeds 1 tsp
Onion seeds ½ tsp
Heat oil in a wok, add 1tbsp crushed garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add 20 curry leaves, 1tsp cumin seeds, 1/2tsp mustard seeds and 1/2tsp onion seeds.
Fry for 2 minutes. Add 2 ground red chilies along with 4tbsp ketchup,3tbsp chili garlic sauce, ½ tsp crushed red pepper salt to taste and all the chopped vegetables. Toss well. Lastly fold in the boiled Kolson shell macaroni and mix.
The delicious shell is ready to serve.
