Ingredients
  1. 1) Spinach (chopped) 500 gms
  2. 2) Cottage cheese cubes 200 gms
  3. 3) Fresh milk 100 ml
  4. 4) Onion (chopped) 1
  5. 5) Garlic paste 2 tsp
  6. 6) Ginger paste 1 tsp
  7. 7) Green chillies 4
  8. 8) Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  9. 9) Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  10. 10) Hot spices powder 2 tsp
  11. 11) Oil 2 tbsp
  12. 12) Salt to taste
  13. 13) Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  14. 14) Yogurt 4 tbsp
Method
  • 1. Blanch spinach in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • 2. Cook till soft, and then drain.
  • 3. Blend spinach, green chillies & milk in a blender to make a smooth mixture.
  • 4. Keep aside. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • 5. Add chopped onion & fry till golden.
  • 6. Add tomato puree, salt, ginger & garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & hot spices powder.
  • 7. Fry till oil appears on the sides.
  • 8. Now add spinach mixture & yogurt.
  • 9. Stir well & bring to boil over medium flame.
  • 10. Add cottage cheese & stir for a few minutes.
  • 11. Serve with rice or chapati.
