Ingredients
  1. 2 Cups Cornflakes crushed
    3 tbsp Butter
    2 tbsp Sugar
    2 tbsp Honey
    for Filling
    1 separated Egg
    1 Cup Cream whipped
    1/2 Cup Strawberries puree
    1 1/2 Cup Milk
    1 tbsp Flour
    2 tbsp heaped Gelatin
    6 tbsp Sugar.
Method
  • Melt
    3 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp honey, remove from heat, add 2 cups
    crushed cornflakes, grease 8 inches pie plate and line it with corn flake
    mixture, pressing well on all sides
    for Filling
    Mix 1 1/2 cup milk with 1 tbsp flour, 6 tbsp sugar and 1 egg
    yolk, mix well, cook mixture on very low flame, stirring continuously till
    thick, remove and cool, add in it ½ cup strawberry puree, dissolve gelatin
    mixture, beat 1 egg white stiff with 1 ounce extra sugar, also beat fresh cream
    stiffed, fold beaten egg white and whipped cream in the cooled custard, mix
    well, pour over the base of cornflakes, chill till firm. Decorate with fresh
    cream and strawberry slices.
