Ingredients
  1. Rice½ kg
    Onion1
    Tomatoes2
    Green chilies6
    Mint leaves½ bunch
    Crushed black pepper1 tsp
    Salt1 tsp
    Oil4 tbsp
    Ingredients for Tanduri Chicken
    Chicken½ kg
    Yogurt½ cup
    Red food colorfew drops
    All spice powder1 tsp
    Carom seeds roasted1 tsp
    Cumin seeds roasted1 tsp
    Raw papaya paste1 tsp
    Ginger garlic paste2 tsp
    Crushed red pepper2 tsp
    Vinegar2 tbsp
    Oil4 tbsp
Method
  • Marinate ½ kg chicken with ½ cup yogurt, few drops of red food color, 1 tsp all spice powder, 1 tsp roasted carom seeds, 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds, 1 tsp raw papaya paste, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp crushed red pepper, 2 tbsp vinegar and 4 tbsp oil for 20 minutes.
    Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
    Now add 6 green chilies, 1 tsp salt, 2 chopped tomatoes and 1glass of water. Cook till it comes to a boil.
    Now add soaked ½ kg rice. Cook till water dries, now add tanduri chicken with gravy, 1 tsp crushed red pepper and ½ bunch of mint leaves. Mix well and serve.
