Thai Prawn Rice Recipe By Gulzar Hussain
Thai Prawn Rice recipe by Gulzar Hussain. This delightful Main Course recipe of Thai Prawn Rice can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish.
Minced garlic 2tbsp
Spring onions(onion bulb) 2-3
Crushed red chilies 1tsp
Worcestershire sauce 1-2tbsp
Red curry paste 1tbsp
Fish sauce 1tbsp
Basil a pinch
Lemon juice 2tbsp
Green chilies 5-6
Salt as required
Spring onions for garnishing
Soak the rice for 2-3 hours. Place rice and water into a medium saucepan. Bring to the boil, cover and reduce to low heat. Cook for until half done. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add 2tbsp minced garlic and fry for 1-2 minutes.
Now add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove and place on an absorbent paper
In the same oil toss in the chopped spring onions, along with the red curry paste, 5-6 green chilies, 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce ,salt as required 4tbsp lemon juice and 1tbsp fish sauce
Add the prawns along with a pinch of basil .Toss in the rice and mix well
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve
