Ingredients
  1. Olive oil 1 tbsp
  2. Onion finally chopped 1
  3. Garlic 1clove
  4. Tomatoes, peeled and roughly chopped 500 g
  5. Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  6. Fresh basil 1 tbsp
  7. Black pepper
Method
  • • Heat oil in saucepan and cook onion and garlic over a medium heat for 4 minutes or until onion id soft. Add tomatoes paste, sugar and basil.
  • • Bring sauce to simmering, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until sauce reduces and thickens.
