INGREDIENTS

1 pound cake
1 tin fruit cocktail
3-4 tbsp fruit syrup
Strawberry jelly cubes
Banana jelly cubes
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 tbsp sugar
 ½ litre milk
2 tbsp vanilla custard powder
1 cup cream
½ cup cream to pipe and decorate

METHOD

Boil milk with sugar and add the custard powder, earlier dissolved incold milk. Cook till thick and add the vanilla essence, Slice the poundcake and layer in glasses. Moisten with fruit syrup, add the fruitcocktail on top, put both the jellies cubed, fruit and the vanillacustard, let chill and then add the cream on top, smoothen and let chillagain, decorate with fruit and jelly cut in shapes and cream rosettes.
