KP minister Akbar Ayub Khan steps down from his post

Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development, Akbar Ayub Khan on Thursday has stepped down from his post in the KP cabinet.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Information Kamran Bangash has accepted and confirmed his resignation.

It has been reported that Akbar Ayub Khan has resigned due to health issues and wanted to focus and give time to people of his own constituency.

A notification has also been issued by the Administration Department which stated that the Governor of the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in exercise of the powers conferred under clause 3 of Article 132 of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan read with clause 1 of Article 105 in this regard.
