I was already expecting ECB's refusal to tour Pakistan: Ramiz Raja

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman has said that the England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) decision regarding calling off the series was already expected.

He expressed these views in a video message shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board media cell. "The Western sides always support each other, no matter what the condition is. The entire decision was already expected which the ECB has made," said the PCB chief.

"We supported England in their hard times but the way they make decisions are quite embarrassing. The PCB compromised every time either it is England, New Zealand, or Australia but no one backed us in our tough times," he added.

Ramiz said the refusal by England board will impact our series against the West Indies in the future. They should have not done that, he added.

The PCB chairman said that the only reason behind abandoning the Pakistan tour is that Pakistan has less economy when it comes to our game 'cricket'. No one likes to play with an average team.

He stressed that Pakistan national team should come up with a strong combination and ravishing performances which will help us show our passion to the world. "The Big Three would love to play with us once we get good repute through their performance," Ramiz asserted.
