12 killed in Afghan earthquake
In Afghanistan, at least 12 people were killed and several others wounded when an earthquake hit western part of the country today (Monday).

Talking to media, District Governor Mohammad Saleh Purdel  said the victims died when roofs of their residential houses collapsed in Qadis district in Badghis.

According to the US Geological Survey, the quake was 5.6 magnitude.
