Pakistan Expected To Remove From UK Red List

The government is planning to reduce the number of countries on the UK red list. Pakistan is expected to be removed as the number of COVID cases is low.

Pakistan was the first to be added to the list. It was mandatory to be quarantined for 10 days amid the Delta variant of Covid 19. Pakistan is hoping to be removed from the red list in this week’s travel review. Pakistan

The traffic system reviews every three weeks to update the travel operation in the country. However, the next review is expected in the mid of September.

The current system helps to ranks destinations as green, amber, or red according to coronavirus risk factors.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab wanted to see Pakistan removed from the red list. After the statement hopes are raising that Pakistan could move to the Amber list.

However, if red lists dominate the factor of Covid cases and variants stats Pakistan can avoid the quarantine laws.
