In UK it has been confirmed that 30th June will be the first day of Zil Hajj. Hence, Eid ul Adha will observe on the 9th July in the UK. Along with the day of Arafat that will be on 08th July 2022. 

Eid ul Adha is an Islamic festival celebrated with great joy in all Muslim countries. Eid e Qurban is an ancient religious practice that can be traced back to the times of Prophet Ibrahim. The sacrifice is known as Qurbani which displays compliance, obedience, and Allah’s will. The purpose of Eid is a universal message of being a subservient to Allah. Also, the message of Eid ul Adha is to remember the poor and focused on charity as well.

The meat is divided into three halves and given to the relatives, the less fortunate, and oneself. Big Eid or the Greater Eid is other names for this Eid ul Adha. It will be observed in a number of Islamic nations on July 9 and 10.
