Kia Lucky Motors is all set to introduce Kia Stonic in Pakistan. The subcompact SUV is all set to launch next month. Recently, the images of locally assembled Kia Stonic loaded in transportation trucks take over the internet. Car enthusiasts couldn’t help themselves drooling over this new addition to the Pakistani automotive market. The images were clicked when the CKD units were being transported to the local dealerships.
Kia Stonic is a B-segment SUV, and there no direct competition exists to the vehicle. It arrives with striking looks and decent features. Internationally, the car comes loaded with four engine options: a 1,000cc Turbocharged petrol engine, a 1200cc 4-Cylinder Naturally Aspirated petrol engine, a 1400cc 4-Cylinder Naturally Aspirated petrol engine, and a 1600cc 4-Cylinder Diesel Engine. There are four transmission options as well: 5-Speed Manual, 6-Speed Manual, 6-Speed Automatic, and 7-Speed DCT.
The company is not revealing which engine and transmission option it is offering in Pakistan. It is safe to assume that Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) will introduce the standard 1.4L MPI engine in Pakistan with a 6-speed automatic transmission. However, it might offer a base variant with a 6-speed manual transmission. The launch of Kia Stonic in Pakistan is imminent, and we may see a formal rollout in late October. However, the company is yet to announce Kia Stonic Price in Pakistan. But we can expect all the models to arrive in the range of 2.8 and 3.5 million rupees.
