UN chief calls for meeting Sudanese people’s ‘democratic aspirations’ following military coup [APP] 12 Apr, 2019

UNITED NATIONS, Apr 12 (APP):UN Secretary-general Antonio Guterres has said that the “democratic aspirations of the Sudanese people” need to be realized through “an appropriate and inclusive transition process”, following the overthrow and arrest of President Omar al-Bashir by order of the country’s new military governing council.
