Surah Baqarah Ayat 234 in Arabic
وَالَّذِيۡنَ يُتَوَفَّوۡنَ مِنۡكُمۡ وَيَذَرُوۡنَ اَزۡوَاجًا يَّتَرَبَّصۡنَ بِاَنۡفُسِهِنَّ اَرۡبَعَةَ اَشۡهُرٍ وَّعَشۡرًاۚ فَاِذَا بَلَغۡنَ اَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِيۡمَا فَعَلۡنَ فِىۡٓ اَنۡفُسِهِنَّ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِيۡرٌ ﴿۲۳۴﴾
Surah Baqarah Ayat 234 with Urdu Translation
اور تم میں جو مریں اور بیبیاں چھوڑیں وہ چار مہینے دس دن اپن ے آپ کو روکے رہیں (ف۴۷۳) تو جب ان کی عدت پوری ہوجائے تو اے والیو! تم پر مؤاخذہ نہیں اس کام میں جو عورتیں اپنے معاملہ میں موافق شرع کریں، اور اللہ کو تمہارے کاموں کی خبر ہے، ﴿۲۳۴﴾

اور جو لوگ تم میں سے مرجائیں اور عورتیں چھوڑ جائیں تو عورتیں چار مہینے دس دن اپنے آپ کو روکے رہیں۔ اور جب (یہ) عدت پوری کرچکیں اور اپنے حق میں پسندیدہ کام (یعنی نکاح) کرلیں تو ان پر کچھ گناہ نہیں۔ اور خدا تمہارے سب کاموں سے واقف ہے ﴿۲۳۴﴾

Surah Baqarah Ayat 234 with English Translation
Such of you as die and leave behind them wives, they (the wives) shall wait, keeping themselves apart, four months and ten days. And when they reach the term (prescribed for them) then there is no sin for you in aught that they may do with themselves in decency. Allah is informed of what ye do. ﴾234﴿
