Surah Isra Ayat 16 in Arabic
وَاِذَاۤ اَرَدۡنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّهۡلِكَ قَرۡيَةً اَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيۡهَا فَفَسَقُوۡا فِيۡهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهَا الۡقَوۡلُ فَدَمَّرۡنٰهَا تَدۡمِيۡرًا ﴿۱۶﴾
Surah Isra Ayat 16 with Urdu Translation
اور جب ہم کسی بستی کو ہلاک کرنا چاہتے ہیں اس کے خوشحالوں (ف۴۵) پر احکام بھیجتے ہیں پھر وہ اس میں بے حکمی کرتے ہیں تو اس پر بات پوری ہوجاتی ہے تو ہم اسے تباہ کرکے برباد کردیتے ہیں، ﴿۱۶﴾

اور جب ہمارا ارادہ کسی بستی کے ہلاک کرنے کا ہوا تو وہاں کے آسودہ لوگوں کو (فواحش پر) مامور کردیا تو وہ نافرمانیاں کرتے رہے۔ پھر اس پر (عذاب کا) حکم ثابت ہوگیا۔ اور ہم نے اسے ہلاک کر ڈالا ﴿۱۶﴾

Surah Isra Ayat 16 with English Translation
And when We would destroy a township We send commandment to its folk who live at ease, and afterward they commit abomination therein, and so the Word (of doom) hath effect for it, and we annihilate it with complete annihilation. ﴾16﴿
