Nokia has never failed to connect people through its amazing devices. Nokia 6.1 Plus is the third iteration in the series. It has been launched in China by the name of ’X6S’. Considering the Pakistani market this device is launched at around 35,500 PKR which makes it a mid range device.

The original Nokia 6 was launched back in 2017, followed by Nokia 6 (2018) — popularly dubbed as the Nokia 6.1 launched early this year; the device comes with more incremental hardware updates.

What you will find the branding of Android One on the front of the box along with Nokia 6.1 plus label. This makes it a stock Android device which means that you will find all the latest Android updates in this device at the earliest. At the back of the device there are list of specifications mentioned that gives you a glance what this device stocks for you.

It comes with 5.8 inches Full HD display, dual rear camera set up of 16 MP + 5 MP, and 16 MP front snapper. It further comes with advanced AI imaging, dual sight mode, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. This device comes in black color.

Opening the box, you will find Advance Telecom warranty card, SIM ejector tool, user manual, hands free, Type –C cable, and a charging adapter.

Design & Display

Nokia 6.1 Plus with aluminum frame design with a premium look. It is encased with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 panel at front and back, taking up approximately 93% of the phone’s luxuriously curved surface for the ultimate feel in your hand. Nokia 6.1 Plus is almost all-screen on the front with a large and immersive 5.8 -inch LCD Capacitive touch screen and IPS display. It is packed with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, which offers a grand visual experience.

At one side there is volume rockers and power button, and on the other side there is hybrid SIM slot in which you can place one Nano SIM and one Micro SD card, or two Nano SIMs at a time. At the bottom there is speaker unit, Type C charging port, and micro phone. On the top you will find 3 mm headphone jack. On the top you will find 3.5 mm head phone jack, and voice cancellation microphone is present.

As far is the display is concerned, it has a screen-to-body ratio of ~81.5%, which instantly snaps you into a deep media-consuming trance. It has got 19:9 aspect ratios, which enables it to fit easily in the grip of your hand and displays a range of 16M colors at 432ppi density to deliver the best color quality. The build quality is pretty premium with its excellent dimensions that include a8 mm width and 151g weight, which further add to the smartphones good looks and aesthetics.

Nokia 6.1 Plus does all its thinking with the cutting edge Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636Octa core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, and delivers stunning graphics, industry leading performance and enhances battery efficiency. This device comes coupled with two memory variants - 6 GB and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB and 32 GB internal capacity with storage expansion up to 400 GB via a MicroSD card. On the software front, the device runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and Android One brings a Google designed software experience to the phone. It is fueled by a 3060 mAh non removable Li-ion battery with the Fast battery charging capacity (Quick Charge 3.0).

Nokia 6.1 Plus is also loaded with the power efficient Adreno 509GPU, which is designed to cater the complex graphics use and provide stunning visuals for other contents. This phone is packed with a variety of sensors including Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass to cope with the modern demands of customers.
