Bahadur Shah Zafar Poetry – There is almost no person in South Asia who is unaware of the name of Bahadur Shah Zafar. He was not just a poet but was also the last Mughal Emperor. He ruled on Indian subcontinent for 20 years and spent the last years of his life in exile at Rangoon (Currently Myanmar).

Ghalib who belonged to a royal family was put into a cell-like palace and Mir Taqi’s era was as sad and terrorized as Bahadur Shah Zafar’s.
