DG SBP inaugurates National Track Cycling

LAHORE - Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh inaugurated the 66th National Track Cycling Championship at cycling velodrome on Monday. 

“Sports Board Punjab, in the shape of different sports events, is providing appropriate playing opportunities to all talented players of the province to display their talent,” said the DG SBP while addressing the journalists. Other notables present on the occasion were PCF President Syed Azhar Ali Shah, Secretary Nisar Ahmed, Vice President Moazzam Khan, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti and other officials. Aulakh, who was the chief guest on this occasion, was introduced to all the players and officials prior to the competitions. 

“The Sports Board Punjab is taking extraordinary measures for the promotion of all games across the province. We are organizing the 1st Chief Minister Punjab 5-a-Side National Women Hockey Championship at the National Hockey Stadium quite successfully these days. In the recent past, the SBP also organized several other sports events of different games to provide sufficient playing opportunities to our male and female players with the aim of promoting sports at grassroots level and produce champions for the country.”
