PM asks people to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) in befitting manner

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday asked the entire nation including the media and minorities to fully participate in Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) celebrations. In a video message this morning, he desired that such celebrations would have never witnessed before.

The prime minister said this is a special month of blessings and happiness when Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Muhammad Sallallah-o-Alaihe wa Aalehi Wa Sallam Khatam-un-Nabiyyeen on the earth. Imran Khan said the Last Prophet was the greatest world leader, who gave the message of unity to the people. Therefore, he added, people should participate in the celebrations. “We should celebrate it as it has never been celebrated before in the country’s history.”

On Thursday, President Arif Alvi issued the ordinance related to the establishment of Rehmatul lil Alameen Authority, as part of the government efforts to form ‘Riyasat-e-Madina’.

Leicester City beat Manchester United 4-2 in Premier League thriller The authority will comprise of a chairman and six members. Under the ordinance, Prime Minister Imran Khan will be the patron-in-chief of the committee.

The authority would take steps to make the ‘dream of a just and welfare state a reality’. Moreover, it would also conduct researches on Seerat-e-Nabvi and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s teachings for ‘the character building’ of youth.

It would also consult the experts concerned for making Seerat-e-Nabvi a part of the curriculum.
