6 killed, 24 wounded in US July 4 parade shooting

In the United States, six people were killed and twenty-four others injured in a shooting during a parade to mark US Independence Day near Chicago in the state of Illinois.

City Police Commander told journalists that the suspected shooter, who is still at large, has been described as a white male aged 18-20.  

US Representative Brad Schneider, who was at the parade, expressed in a tweet condolences to the family and loved ones; of those killed and prayed for the injured.
