LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday has condemned the act of not allowing party agents inside the polling stations established for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections.
In a statement, the PML-N spokesperson alleged that votes are being stolen in several constituencies. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan cannot turn his defeat into triumph through rigging.
Earlier, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that full monitoring will be carried out in AJK to thwart any attempt to steal votes. PML-N had formulated an election-day monitoring strategy and teams for legal assistance, she told.
She said that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir would not allow anyone to kidnap election staff or votes.
Party leaders and workers were assigned responsibilities for election-day monitoring, the PML-N spokesperson stated.
