Polling On Two Seats Of AJK Legislative Assembly Held In Karachi

Karachi: Polling was held in Karachi on two seats of migrators of Azad Jammu Kashmir AJK while 33 polling stations were established across the city.

The polling was held on LA 34 and LA 11 for which 33 polling stations were established in Karachi. While as many as 14 cadidates are taking part in the elections on the two seats of Karachi.

As many as 12 polling stations were established for Jammu 1, LA 34. This constituency has 591 voters registered. While as many as 21 polling stations were established for Azad Kshmir Vally LA 11. This constituency has 3, 860 numbers of voters.

The polling stations has been established in Orangi Town, Akhtar Colony, Mahmoodabad, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, North Karachi, FB area and Baldiya Town.

Various political parties which included Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) had installed their camps outside the venues of the polling stations.
